Forecasts - Government Finances

The Treasury's forecasts for Government finances (or fiscal forecasts) are published at least twice a year in Economic and Fiscal Updates (EFUs).

The most recent published forecast is Budget Economic and Fiscal Update 2009 published on 28 May 2009. See the Fiscal Indicators section for forecast indicators (core Crown revenue, net core Crown debt etc).

The next forecast will be the Half Year Economic and Fiscal Update 2009 to be published conjointly with the Budget Policy Statement 2010.

BEFUs are usually published in May each year; HYEFUs in December.
