Proposal

1. This paper provides information on:

a. the Government’s work programme to investigate issues of property insurance pricing and access and, if required, potential policy interventions, and

b. other insurance-related initiatives and wider risk-management activities underway across government.

2. The Cabinet Economic Development Committee (DEV) discussed insurance issues in May 2019 and requested information on the matters in this paper.
