Ministerial Directive to Overseas Investment Office Information Release

The Treasury has released documents relating to the Ministerial Directive to Overseas Investment Office.

On 28 November 2017 the Minister of Finance issued a new Ministerial Directive Letter to the Overseas Investment Office (OIO). The Ministerial Directive Letter contains information on the Government’s general policy approach and other matters, including matters relating to the OIO’s functions, powers and duties as regulator.

The Treasury has released material relating to the Government's decisions on these changes.
