The Head of the New Zealand Debt Management Office, Sarah Vrede, has resigned from the Treasury to take up company director and consulting roles, Treasury Secretary Gabriel Makhlouf announced today.
Ms Vrede joined the Treasury in 2013 and has headed the Debt Management Office since 2014. Ms Vrede’s last day at the Treasury will be 29 June 2018. A further announcement regarding her successor will be made prior to 29 June 2018.
“We are very sorry to lose Sarah, and wish her every success for the future” said Mr Makhlouf.
